This colorful artist signed original mixed media painting on wood board by John Root ( John Root Hopkins) is an original, not a print.

John was known for selling reproductions of his original paintings.  I purchased two original paintings from him in 2000. This one is signed in the painting, copyright '98. There is also a label on the back in John's handwriting. It has the title, signature, the words Original Mixed Media and #137.

   The scene shows a depiction of the infamous late 20th century French Fry Wars: McDonald's versus Burger King. The Fries are literally fighting it out with swords.
