Time Marches On

July 5, 2026

Artists can be pretty  insecure about selling their work. It would be nice but don't count on it seems to be the prevailing thought. I have always been too prolific for my own good....producing far more original paintings, drawings, prints, photos and ceramic sculptures than I could possibly unload in my lifetime.

At one point many years ago I ruthlessly destroyed all but a few examples of my portfolio.......tossed it all right into the incinerator.  I had been selling my work since I was a teenager so I didn't feel unappreciated....just a bit overwhelmed I guess.  My student work, photography, early silkscreen prints from my Masters Degree portfolio and numerous craft products was all deleted from my life.  I did keep those few examples that I mentioned.   Maybe I'll list them for sale on the PigsleyArt site.
