Welcome to the PigsleyArt.com FAQ page! We understand you might have questions about our unique art and prints, shipping, orders and custom requests. We've compiled answers to the most common inquiries to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. If you don't find what you're looking for here, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Frequently asked questions

Do all items have free shipping to all USA locations?

YES. I have calculated a price for all items for sale that includes free shipping to the USA. 

Shipping is usually First Class Large Envelope. Certain items that do not meet the requirements for this service will be sent Ground Advantage.

Oversize original art may have to be crated and shipped by Freight but the shipping cost is still included in the price.

Will you ship outside the USA?

If you want a quote for international shipping I will work one up for you based on your location. There are a few countries to which I will not ship and a few that I will not ship to without insurance. Contact me for further information.

I usually use the USPS.   While there is an international small packet rate I find it to be too high for items that cost less than $10. In most cases your cost would be doubled or more.

Also please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient. 

How will the artwork be packaged for shipping?

All art and prints from PigsleyArt.com are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Original art and prints are typically shipped flat or lightly rolled in a box. Note cards and smaller items are secured in reinforced mailers or envelopes.

Is insurance necessary?

I take every precaution with packaging,  so I only recommend shipping insurance for high-value items or international orders. This provides peace of mind and protection against loss or damage during transit.

Domestic shipments of items I when have a quantity should not need insurance. In the unlikely event of loss or damage I will replace them the first time for no charge.

Can I create a custom set of note cards or postcards ?

Yes, as long as I have enough in stock. Please contact me directly at misspigsley@gmail.com to discuss creating a custom set of four, five or six note cards, or postcards, tailored to your preferences.

What if I have a special request ?

If you have any special requests regarding your order, such as specific packaging instructions, gift messages, or anything else please reach out to me before placing your order. I'll do my best to accommodate your needs. You can contact me by email at  misspigsley@gmail.com 

What if my shipment is damaged ?

In the rare event that your art or prints arrive damaged, please contact PigsleyArt.com within 3 days of delivery to report the damage. Use the misspigsley@gmail.com e-mail.

Depending on the items damaged I'll do a refund or replacement.

 If your package was insured take photos of the damaged packaging and item. Send to misspigsley@gmail.com   I will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, either through a replacement or refund.

What if my order has not arrived ?

If your PigsleyArt.com order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please check your tracking information first. If there are no updates or if the package is confirmed lost, contact me at misspigsley@gmail.com and I will assist you in locating it or arranging a replacement.

What if I want to return my order ?

Your satisfaction is important to me. If you wish to return your art or prints, returns must be initiated within 3 days of receipt and items must be in their original condition. You are paying for the return postage. Contact us at  misspigsley@gmail.com to start a return.

Do all the note cards have envelopes ?

Yes, all PigsleyArt.com note cards come with a coordinating envelope.

What quality, type and finish of paper do you use?

We use only high-quality papers for our art and prints at PigsleyArt.com. Our prints are typically on heavier stock paper, matte or with a coating ensuring vibrant colors and lasting durability. Note cards use a premium card stock. Specific details are often listed in product descriptions.

Can the postcards be mailed ?

PigsleyArt.com postcards are designed to meet standard postal requirements and can be mailed just like any other postcard. They feature a blank space for your message and recipient's address, plus the painting title and artist's address, making them perfect for sending a piece of art to friends and family.

Except for the smallest postcard (4.25 x 5.5) they all require a First Class stamp.
