Vintage Mexican Tin Tray- Engraved Design- Man in Landscape

This piece is from my small, eclectic Folk Art collection. 

The overall size is 9.75 by 14.75 inches, and 1.25 inches deep.

This Mexican tin over wood tray has an primitive engraved design of a man carrying a bundle of something on his back. The landscape he is in includes a mountain and a couple of house roofs and some agave plants.

The tin is darkened with age but shows only a few spotty light rust colored stains (mostly on the back). The bottom of the tray is wood; they did not cover it with the metal.

I only had three of these trays in my collection...because I only wanted ones that were done in a naive, primitive style. They were probably learning pieces for beginners !
