This piece is from my small, eclectic Folk Art collection.
The box is 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) tall with an additional .75 inches (1.9 cm) inches added by the front peak.
The box is 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) wide and 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) deep.
This small open shadow box with hand painted decorations has a "Hand Made in Peru " stamp on the bottom. Three dimensional figures of a saint being worshipped by a figure of a man.
There are cacti flanking the saint figure along with some other plants and animals. A couple of what appear to be winged cherubs are overlooking the scene.
The artist has signed the back but I cannot make out the spelling of the signature.
