Our Pigsley Refuge of Sinners Notecard

 These prints are from a series of drawings and paintings featuring my pet pig, Miss Pigsley, now sadly deceased. The original art and the prints were produced in 2010.

Our Pigsley, Refuge of Sinners
Miss Pigsley is as devout  as the next pig, putting great store in the various saints and entities that might help her out in a jam.

Seen here is Miss Pigsley as Our Lady, Refuge of Sinners (or NS de Refugio de Pecadores), perhaps the most popular of all subjects in retablo art. She is almost always depicted as seen here with the puffy white clouds, garland of flowers, her ciphers on her cloak and Christ Child in hand. 

This print is the first in a series of devotional portraits which when finished promise something to no doubt offend everyone.

The 4.25 x 5.5 notecard , printed on card stock with a matte surface, is blank inside waiting for your personal message. An envelope is included and the notecard is sealed in a clear bag.
